Can I have my groceries delivered to a different address than my own?
Yes. During the checkout process you will be asked for your delivery address. Simply change this address to the one you wish to have the delivery. Your selection will be delivered to the location you enter.

Can I order the same day I want it delivered?
Unfortunately you cannot. Your order must be made by 5pm the day before your chosen delivery date. We must have time to pick out and prepare your groceries in order to offer the highest level of service.

Do I have to be there to receive my groceries?
Yes, you must be there to receive your groceries. If you cannot be there for your groceries, you must contact us immediately. If you have another person that will be accepting your groceries, you must notify us ahead of time. This can be done by contacting us - be sure to include your order number, delivery date, and delivery time.

Do I have to tip the driver?
Leaving tips is entirely up to you. Tips are not expected, but are always appreciated by our employees.

Do you gift pack items?
In some cases gift-wrapping will be available, such as in the Chocolates department. Just before submitting your order you will see a box for special instructions. If you wish to have the item gift wrapped, please make a note of it in that box. There might be a nominal fee for this service.

Do you have a delivery fee?
For orders up to $195 there will be a $10 fee. Any orders orders over $195 delivery is free of charge..

Do you have a minimum order amount?
Yes, our minimum order amount is $60. You will not be able to checkout until your shopping cart amount is above $60.

How do you calculate sales tax?
Where applicable, a Florida sales tax of 7% will be added to all orders shipped to a location within the state of Florida.

How much do you charge for shipping?

How will I know when to expect my package?
Local deliveries are sent out the next day, unless special handling needs to be considered, such as freezing, etc.  Out of area shipments will be sent the next day with the tracking number emailed to you.

If I know I will not be present during the delivery time, can I instruct the driver to leave my groceries somewhere?
We do not currently do grocery drop-offs but if if you live in a condo and arrange with your doorman or concierge to accept the order we can leave it with them, however we can not be responsible for perishables. If you would like to have a neighbor or friend to sign for you, please contact us and let us know.

All our meats and poultry are packed under the constant supervision of the Vaad of The Five Towns and Far Rockaway of worldwide renown for upholding the strictest of standards.

We carry meats and poultry from a range of sources with a variety of supervisions.

Since many of our customers prefer product with a particular supervision or from a particular source or prefer to avoid a particular source we offer the list below that details the assortment of product we carry.

Should you have a specific request we will have our Mashgiach (Kosher Supervisor) ensure and sign that your selection is exactly what you ordered.

Kosher Supervision or Hashgacha
You, the customer, remain solely responsible for the kashrut of the products that you purchase and consume. Kastnersmarket.com intends to offer no product for sale that is not kosher within the meaning of traditional, normative Orthodox Jewish Law ("halacha"). We provide no kosher certification of the products we sell, nor do we make any independent warranty, guaranty, representation, or claim that the products sold on this site are kosher. We have presented items for sale on this site which we believe to be kosher within the requirements of halacha, based solely and exclusively on (a) the manufacturers' or producers' of the items representations that their items are kosher within the meaning of halacha, and/or (b) the independent certification(s) that the individual products may bear that the items are kosher within the meaning of halacha, each item according to its own certification.

Furthermore, we take no responsibility for our products' compliance with any particular stringency within halacha that you might be accustomed to follow, such as chalav yisroel or pas yisroel. These types of halachic stringencies are matters of personal taste and religious practice which kastnersmarkt.com has made no attempt to comply with. We believe that you the customer will be satisfied with any item you purchase from our site, but as to matters of halacha, you and/or your rabbi will have to be the judge of whether the items you purchase meet with your kosher standards.

What days and time do you deliver?
We deliver five days a week from 10am to 11:30am, 11:30am to 1pm, and 5pm to 8pm. Our current delivery days are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Please note that you must place your order by 5pm the evening before your delivery day.

What forms of payment do you require?
We accept Visa, Discover, MasterCard, and American Express.

What happens after I have put in my order?
You will receive an e-mail from us informing you that we have received your order and it is being processed. The delivery be made locally within the next few days depending on availability of items. If your order is being shipped, in the next few days (depending on the availability and shipping of the product), we will notify you again that your product has been shipped and is on its way to you. We will also include the tracking numbers so that you can go directly to the specific shipping carrier to track your packages.

What if I am missing an item?
Please contact us immediately if you feel you are missing an item from your order. We will locate the item and bring it to you immediately. After 48 hours, we can no longer be responsible for missing items. We double check all orders when they are picked up and before they are delivered. It is extremely important for us to know if we made any mistakes so we can fix them.

What if I am not there during the delivery time?
It is imperative that you do your best to be present during the delivery time you choose. If you are not present during your delivery time, you will be subject to a $15 redelivery charge. If you are not present during your redelivery time, or do not attempt to have a redelivery, you will be charged a $30 restocking fee. We will email you several times prior to your order to remind you of your order time and details.

What is your cancellation policy?
We cannot guarantee any cancellation, once an order is submitted. If you want to change or cancel an order we encourage you to send us a prompt email to request your cancellation.

What is your delivery area?
Kastnersmarket.com will deliver within the following Zip Codes: 33109, 33129, 33130, 33131, 33132, 33136, 33137, 33139, 33140, 33141, 33154, 33160, 33176, 33179 and 33180. If we do not deliver to your area, simply fill out the registration form and we will contact you when we begin delivering in your area.

What types of shipping do you offer?
At Kastnersmarket.com we pride ourselves on being able to deliver the freshest and finest kosher products where and when you need them. We’ve made several shipping options available to you; from “Standard Shipping”, which is available to everyone in the U.S at the same discounted rate, regardless of zip code and order content (with the exceptions of Alaska and Hawaii), to “Priority Overnight”, which can be delivered as early as 10:30 AM the next business day. When shipping within the U.S, we primarily use FedEx, and when shipping abroad or to military addresses, we ship with the United States Postal Service.

When do I need to order something so that I receive it as quickly as possible, and how long will it take to arrive?
That depends on the product being shipped and its final destination. All orders can take one to three days to process and can take longer during holiday periods.

Why would I want to set up a Login account?
For speed of use and assured delivery. 

Will you substitute a product if something that I ordered is unavailable?
When you set up a login account you will be asked if you want us to substitute a similar product for one that is currently unavailable. If you do not set up a login account then we will ask you whether you want us to substitute a similar product for one that is currently unavailable whenever you finish with the checkout process.
